Its because ronald suffered a heart attack in airplane 3 and Kelly was just a little girl in airplane 3, in airplane 1 you save the plane and ronald is a ghost now and in airplane 2, Kelly is a grown up and she said that ronald got a heart attack before making a plane crash and the plane is a presidential airplanee
So meaning airplane 3 is connected to airplane 1, and airplane 1 is connected to airplane 2.
